Digital Imaging: Adbusters

 

Since the industrial revolution people have been consuming more and more, and companies have been advertising more and more. This increase in advertisement and consumption has fundamentally changed all of our lives. Students will get the opportunity to examine how advertisers craft their message and use those same techniques to create a ‘mock’ or ‘fake’ advertisement that subverts or questions a current ad campaign.
